From November 9-10, 2022 – Global Communication Center (GCC) organized a 2-days’ workshop on Portable Health Clinic (PHC) system titled ‘2nd Micro Healthcare Entrepreneurship (MHE) Workshop’. The 1st Micro Healthcare Entrepreneurship (MHE) workshop was held on July 4-5, 2022. The objectives of the workshop were; i.e. (i) Introduce digital healthcare system as a tool to achieve SDGs#3 (ii) Provide hands on training on Portable Health Clinic system and (iii) Gather opportunities and challenges to start a digital healthcare business. GCC has a plan to organize the 3rd MHE workshop on January 3-4, 2023.
25 healthcare professionals were finally selected to participate in this workshop. The workshop content and schedule were designed in such a way to equip the participants with an ample knowledge of basic business operations in healthcare sector, investment opportunities, challenges, current rivalry etc.
Professionals and experts of relevant fields from Kyushu University, Japan; Grameen Trust; UNICEF and Grameen Communications presented slides and shared their invaluable experiences and knowledge with the participants.
Workshop was happily ended through a certificate giving ceremony by the Managing Director of Grameen Communications. At the end of the workshop, participants expressed their enormous satisfaction and gratitude to the organizers.
