On September 12, 2022 – Hiroshi Hoshino, Professor of Graduate School of Economics and Managing Director of Yunus & Shiiki Social Business Research Center (SBRC), Kyushu University, Japan arrived in GCC today. The purpose of his visit in Bangladesh is to see the real-life implications of social business principles at field level and to opt any promising new idea of social business in order to undertake social research. Mr. Rajib Chowdhury – Senior Manager of GCC presented GCC’s all research activities to Prof. Hoshino in a session. Dr. Ashir Ahmed, Associate Professor, Department of Advanced Information Technology, Faculty of Information Science and Electrical Engineering, Kyushu University and Dr. Nuren Abedin, Post-Doc Fellow of Social Business Research Center (SBRC) of Kyushu University were also participated in this session along with the team members of GCC.

Prof. Hoshino will visit Grameen Trust’s New Entrepreneurship (Nobin) Program in Manikganj to visualize the impact of social business.
