January 07, 2021 – During 1 – 6, January 2022, GCC has organized a 4-days long PHC general health checkup program at Chhaygaon, Shariatpur under Mother and Child Healthcare (MCH) Project, maintaining public health and safety regulations for COVID-19 as directed by the Government. A team of 9 members from GCC office, Dhaka participated in this program to provide healthcare services to the pre-selected female participants of Chhaygaon under MCH project. This time, PHC healthcare service were given to a total of 264 participants with doctor consultancy support. The health camp was conducted on January 2 – 3, 2022 at Kazi Bari in Ward#4 and January 4 – 5, 2022 at Kazi Didar Box Madrasa in Ward#2. The objective of the health campaign was to provide annual healthcare services to 429 previously selected female participants.

The program aimed to promote the importance of preventive & maternity healthcare issues among the women of reproductive age and to create awareness on the implementation of COVID-19 health and hygiene guidelines of DGHS, as well as encourage local females to participate in the national COVID-19 vaccination program living in Chhaygaon Union.
